Basic Roast BeefServes 8 | This one is a classic for a reason.
Ingredients:
3 lb boneless beef rump roast | 3 tablespoons vegetable oil | 3 cups hot water | 4 teaspoons beef bouillon granules | 1 tablespoon dried oregano | 2 cloves garlic, peeled and minced | 1/2 teaspoon salt | 1/2 teaspoon pepper | Directions:- Preheat oven to 350° F.
- In a Dutch oven, brown roast on all sides in oil over medium-high heat; drain.
- Combine remaining ingredients in a mixing bowl. Once mixed, pour over roast.
- Cover and bake in the oven for 3 hours, or until meat is tender and fully cooked.
- Remove roast to a warm serving platter and let stand 10 minutes before slicing.
