Grilled Turkey & Tomato Sandwiches

Serves 2 | 


1 tablespoon minced red onion
3 tablespoons sour cream
1 tablespoon dijon mustard
1/4 teaspoon thyme, dried
4 teaspoon butter, softened
4 slices sourdough bread
6 slices honey-roasted smoked deli turkey breast
4 slices tomato
2 slices cheddar cheese


  1. In a bowl, combine minced onion, sour cream, mustard and thyme.
  2. Spread 1 teaspoon of butter on one side of each bread slice.
  3. Spread 2 tablespoons of mustard mixture over the unbuttered side of each of 2 bread slices; top each with 3 turkey slices, 2 tomato slices and 1 slice of cheese. Top with 1 bread slice, buttered side facing up.
  4. Heat a large non-stick skillet over medium heat until hot then add the sandwiches. Cover and cook for 3 minutes per side, or until golden brown. Serve.
