Honey Rice Pudding
A delightfully easy dessert.
Serves 4 |
|3 1/2 cups whole milk |
|1/2 cup short-grain rice |
|2 tablespoons sugar |
|1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract |
|1/8 teaspoon salt |
|3 tablespoons honey, plus more for drizzling |
- Bring the milk, rice, sugar, vanilla, and salt to a boil in a medium saucepan.
- Reduce the heat and simmer, stirring often, until the rice is tender and the liquid has been absorbed, 20 to 25 minutes.
- Remove from the heat. Stir in the honey. Let stand for 5 minutes.
- Divide into serving bowls and drizzle on a bit more honey.
