Sweet and Spicy Roasted Chicken
A lot of sweet with a hint of heat.

|4 lb bone-in chicken |
|1/3 cup honey |
|1 tablespoon cider vinegar |
|1 tablespoon chili powder |
|1/2 tablespoon garlic powder |
|1/4 teaspoon smoked paprika |
|1/2 teaspoon cumin |
|1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper |
|1 teaspoon salt |
- Preheat the oven to 400° F. Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil.
- In a small bowl, combine honey, cider vinegar, chili powder, garlic powder, smoked paprika, cayenne, cumin, and salt. Stir until combined.
- Place the chicken on the baking sheet. Brush about half of the seasoning mixture over the chicken.
- Place chicken in the oven. Roast for 10 minutes. Remove chicken from the oven and use the remaining seasoning mixture on the chicken. Return to the oven and roast for an additional 10 minutes.
