Baked Dessert Apples

The tastiest dessert for Autumn.
Serves 8 | 


4 Braeburn apples
1/2 cup shredded coconut
1 cup chopped pecans
1/4 cup honey
1/4 cup coconut oil
1/4 teaspoon sea salt
3 teaspoons ground cinnamon
Caramel sauce, for topping


  1. Preheat oven to 350° F. Grease a large casserole dish with baking spray.
  2. Slice each apple in half and use a melon baller to hollow out core. Arrange apple halves in the casserole dish.
  3. Combine the shredded coconut, chopped pecans, honey, coconut oil, sea salt and ground cinnamon in a mixing bowl. Stir together well.
  4. Spoon an even amount of the coconut pecan mix into each apple half.
  5. Place the casserole dish into the oven and bake for 30 minutes.
  6. Remove the casserole dish from the oven and transfer apples to serving plates. Drizzle caramel sauce over top and enjoy!
